Comments:
After graduation from Mumford I began working at Wayne State University as the secretary of the Dept. of Geography. Nine years later I was employed as a secretary in a marketing and store location consulting firm. It was through this company that I met my husband. Ironically, he, Bob Swartz, was a new employee in the Dept. of Geography at WSU. We married in l971, had two sons and I was a stay at home Mom. In the early 1990’s I enrolled in a travel school and, upon completion of the program, I worked as a cruise consultant for two agencies. In 1995 I opened my cruise only travel agency, Cruise Selections, Inc., and I continue to make peoples’ dream vacation, cruising, become a reality.
