Comments:

Following my graduating from Mumford in 1957, I attended Wayne State University where I was active in Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. I then attended the Chicago College of Osteopathy, where I served as president of my professional fraternity, Lambda Omicron Gamma.
After graduating in 1965, I did an internship at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital. My work as an emergency room physician was interrupted when I was drafted into the United States Navy in 1967.
I served two years at the Main Navel Dispensary in Washington, DC and had the opportunity to treat President Richard Nixon at the White House.
After leaving the Navy as a lieutenant commander, I returned to Michigan and took a four year residency in orthopedic surgery at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital, and a six month fellowship in hand surgery at Harper Hospital.
I entered my orthopedic practice at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital where I worked for 30 years. During that time I served as chief of staff for one year, and for several years was chairman of the orthopedic residency program. I was also honored with the physician of the year award.
I retired from surgery and am presently doing orthopedic evaluations.
My wife, Susan (Roth) and I just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. We have been blessed with two children and six grandchildren, all of whom live in Michigan. We enjoy golfing in Florida and northern Michigan and spending time with our beautiful family and cherished friends.
