Fifty years is a long time although it seems like yesterday that we all graduated from Mumford. After high school I attended Wayne State University and then medical school where i received my D.O. degree and then a specialty and certification in family practice. I married, had two sons who became physicians and then I got divorced.
Years later I married my present wife and now enjoy the happiest of days with my blended family which includes my two step-daughters, step-son-in-law and new step-grandson.
I am still in practice with my present wife, Marsha, an ex-school teacher and certified social worker running my office as the office manager. She oversees everything and keeps everything in place.
With all this and friends and travel I can honesty say life is great.
My wife, Marsha, and I have a blended family of four children, one son-in-law and one grandchild. I am still working as a family practitioner and my wife, a certified social worker, is now managing the office operation.
The children are Dr. Bruce Millman (pulmonary intensive care at Beaumont Hospital) Dr. Alan Millman (neurology-pain management, Columbia Presbyterian and a large group practice in New York), Lisa Schavoren (labor and delivery nurse at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York) and Amy Miller (Comedy Central publicist) and Jeffrey Miller (Greta Van Susterm producer) and grandson Asher Miller (2/19/07).
