Comments:
After high school graduation I went to work at Wayne State University, downtown Detoit. I worked there for two years. got married during that time, we had three daughters, Lori, Karen and Sherry. I was a stay-at-home mom, I took up drawing and oil painting, which I’ve done until three years ago. I was widowed just short of our 18th anniversary. I worked as a Kelly Girl on and off after about three years. My youngest daughter introduced me to my husband, Rex Plummer who has four sons, Jim, Robert, Jon and Jay. When we married, all seven of our children stood up for our wedding. We are celebrating our 28th anniversary this year. Between us we have eight grandchildren, four boys and four girls; Jesse, Brandon, Matthew, and Michael. The girls are Kirsten, Tori, Tiffany and Ashley. Four of the grandkids are in college. We have four children who live in Michigan, one in Atlanta and two in the San Diego area. When all of the children were out on their own we took up RVing in our 36 foot “Fifth Wheel.” We have traveled in every state but two. We came to N. Fort Myers in 1989 for a few months and each winter our time here became longer and since 2002 we are now residents of Florida. My husband Rex enjoys playing volley ball adn I am having fun scrapbooking for our children and grandchildren. We have many wonderful friends down here. The children and grandchildren all come to visit, which we love.
I am very sorry I cannot attend the 50th reunion, but hopefully I will be available for the 55th!
