Edward John Vulpe was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 11, 1939 to George and Athina Vulpe. Being a restaurateur was a passion of his and Johnny was an owner of a Coney Island restaurant called George's Famous Coney Island.
Other passions of his included gourmet cooking, music (opera, jazz and rhythm and blues), cars (his own Ferrari along with any formula one cars), travel (mostly to Europe), Italy, Albania, and most of all Johnny just loved people.
Loving brother of Pat, and Rudy (Kim). Favorite uncle of Lisa (Paul), Shannon (Erik), George, and Blake (Sunny). He will also be missed by many friends and cousins, especially Niko, Klara and their families.
