Bill was one of my most wonderful classmates and a lifelong friend. He was very funny and playfull, apart from his being a sensational and respected attorney. We worked together at Fresh Air Camp in Brighton a number of years, a time of rich memories for us both. I miss him terribly.
A friend for seventy years and always a cheerful supportive one. The funeral viewed via the website was quite moving and captured Bill's hearty loving spirit towards humanity. So sad to learn of his passing.

But I knew 'Billy-Bill' since childhood, he lived two blocks away; and we used to play football in the small park fronting my house on Canterbury Road. That is, until the cops chased us away. Some asshole neighbor complained; and so I broke one of his windows, my 1st run in with the law. My memory is that Billy-Bill liked to ride his bike, a two-wheeler!
