Deborah and I moved to the desert town of La Quinta, California in July of 2019. We miss our friends in the Florida Keys but will now be closer to our grandchildren.

Married to Deborah who is an MFA artist from Cranbrook
Retired from 35 years of Orthopaedic Surgery practice in Birmingham Michigan at age 65. Decided not to continue surgery beyond that date having thoroughly enjoyed my practice for all those years. Past president of the Detroit Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and Chairman of the Orthopaedic Surgery Division at Providence Hospital in Southfield Michigan for many years.
Two children.
Margie Yaker, married to Josh Yaker, lives in Huntington Woods, Michigan and has three sons (our grandsons) ; Joey, Adam and Ari.
David Goldman, married to Patricia Svilik lives in Oakland, California and has three children, Alexei Goldman, Eva Goldman and Adrian Goldman
Deborah and I part-timed Key West for many years before my retirement in 2004 and then moved down full time. We lived on the open water ten miles out of town with kayaks and pontoon boat at the dock.
I spent my time playing tennis, mentoring high school students, teaching English as a second language, getting out on the water, sojourning up to Miami, socializing in Key West, attending the Key West Symphony Orchestra; Congregation B’nai Zion; Waterfront Playhouse; Key West Botanical Garden; Key West Literary Seminar; Key West Art and Historical Society; and lots of bars and restaurants and parties. I am now volunteering for the National Marine Sanctuary of the Florida Keys and last but not least drive a taxi once or twice a week for Friendly Cab of Key West and then switched to Uber and Lyft .I was on the Board of Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of the Florida Keys until it was dissolved.which was both an honor and big commitment.
Deborah worksed hard in her studio and is represented by the The Studios Key West. She came from Massachusetts and is an MFA grad of Cranbrook in sculpture.
Rosie the dog was a black standard schnauzer who enjoyed all of the above.After Irma the hurricane of 2017 we made the decision to leave the Keys and in July of 2019 moved to La Quinta, California with our latest schnauzer Lily. Deb has been looking for a studio space and I've been driving Uber and Lyft after tennis three days a week. We're making new friends and neighbors and love the desert.

I guess I was somewhat out of the usual loop at Mumford. I came with a few others from Hally school where we were far less prepared than the Hampton students. I fell in with some very smart guys and we formed the "Imperials". I often raced the second avenue bus across six mile to Wyoming riding my bike to school. Or else I took the same bus. never had a car in high school. I was bored and took summer school twice to graduate early in August of '56 which, in retrospect was a mistake since i missed a lot of fun with the senior year of '57. I have lots of great memories from Mumford and am always happy to attend the reunions. Planning on the 55th as well.
