Loss of a special human being. We were friends from camp North Star in 1948 and then through Mumford. Although I'm not a Saxon and our connection was distant and intermittent in later years, my fondness for David remains.
David was such a dear a close friend. We were business partners on a few things and we had some memorable "adventures". I feel like he saved my life a few times. He had tremendous energy and lived life to the fullest. He was a FORCE and I will miss him greatly.
David was such a unique and enjoyable presence. We too a fencing class together at the JCC. Every female in the program fell in love with him! He lived life on his own terms and I'm glad I had the pleasure of knowing him.

I have known David since we met at camp Michigama in 1952. He was a whilring dervish then and never stopped.
He was loyal to his friends, especially we Saxons, always available for support when needed.
Judy and I will miss him, but his spirit remains in our hearts.
