So very sorry to hear about this. Sandy and I were great friends at Mumford. I remember joining him and his then girl friend at edgeward park for a day at the rides. Great time and a great friend.
on reflection----I think that it was EdgeWATER Park, not EdgeWOOD Park where Sandy, i and his then girlfriend spent a day together. Can anyone confirm this? My memory is that it was on West 7 Mile Road.
Sandy and I were friends in high-school and through our careers at Sinai. Always a soft spoken gentle man who made and kept friends, and was often the go-too radiologist for reviewing a difficult case.

do we think that we can take Sandy's word for this or do we need to send a delegation to verify?

Sad news. Sandy was always a true gentleman and fine human being. High school friendships endure throughout life and his memory shall as well.
